Weather permitting, we will be holding a 3-hour donation drop-off event. This will be an OUTDOOR event with masks and social distancing. We paused donations in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our skeleton crew of volunteers has worked through our parts bins to keep refurbishing bikes these past 10 months. We are finally ready to begin receiving donations in a 3-hour donation drop-off event. This will be an OUTDOOR event with masks and social distancing. We are looking for: - Used bikes in working order - Used bikes requiring minor repairs - Used bikes in need of recycling - Parts in working order - New & used lights (USB-rechargeable preferred) - Locks - New & used mobile toolkits - Pumps in working order Our parts inventory is low, so we are looking for bikes that we can part-out, parts, and bikes that we can refurbish with minimal effort. We will be processing donations outside. We would like USB-rechargeable lights, mobile toolkits, mobile pumps, and locks to donate to people in need when they receive a bike. Wheelhouse Community Bike Shop is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to expanding access to safe and independent bicycling in the Tri-Cities.
