Description

Why is Geometry so important? A multi-year exposure to proof-based geometry gives students a strong logical foundation and the confidence to succeed in higher-level math. Through mathematical proofs, students learn to think critically, reason step by step, and support every conclusion with evidence, skills that extend far beyond the classroom. At RSM, students begin Geometry as early as 6th grade, giving them years to develop logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and mathematical maturity. This preparation helps students excel in the SAT, AP courses, college-level mathematics, and competitions like Math Kangaroo, AMC 8, and MathCounts.
