The Wesleyan Cubs’ Den is an on-campus childcare program for Wesleyan School faculty and staff, based on availability. The Cubs’ Den is looking to hire a qualified daycare director to manage our day-to-day operations and maintain a positive learning environment rooted in Christian faith. Our environment consists of three classrooms with a total of 30-40 children, ages eight weeks through PreK. The director is responsible for managing and supporting the daycare staff and providing care for children. This position follows the Wesleyan School calendar and receives holiday and summer breaks. Cubs’ Den employees are not employees of Wesleyan School.
The desired applicant would have experience managing all aspects of a daycare center or nursery school, as well as strong leadership skills. He or she must have a strong Christian faith, display a friendly demeanor, have a love for children and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for both children and teachers.
