Focusing on truly embodying healing on a Holistic level of the WHOLE body; Physical, Mental, & Emotional Join us for a half day retreat on June 3, 2023 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM A half-day retreat is a wonderful opportunity to connect to deeper levels of insight and tranquility. It is an invitation to shift the pace of life and reorient attention to the here and now. We will gather to establish and nourish a connection to the present moment, acknowledge and hold space for our emotions, and release thoughts or feelings that are not serving you. Structure is offered to support participants uncover the innate clarity, stillness, and ease within. The retreat will include: IntroductionsAn introduction to the practice of the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)/ Tapping to release stress, anxiety, and pain (physical and emotional) from the bodyAn interactive tapping experience, so you can feel this modality at work in your bodyA gentle and supportive yin yoga class + gentle head, neck, shoulder massage during shavasana Light lunchA sound bath + guided yoga nidra meditationJournaling exercisesEach person will have the opportunity to share, be heard, and ask questions of Lauren and the group. At this retreat you will experience: EFT/ Tapping ​The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)/ Tapping, is an alternative and holistic practice for reducing physical pain and emotional distress. It is a fast acting stress release technique that leverages acupressure and psychology for powerful results. Tapping is easy to learn and it is a portable, self care practice that quickly diffuses emotional overwhelm and physical tension. It is wonderful at neutralizing everyday anxiety and restoring inner calm and mental clarity. It is also highly effective as a tool to release trauma. In clinical trials, Tapping is proven to rapidly reduce cortisol levels and provide emotional freedom to those suffering from PTSD. Yoga Nidra Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation". During Yoga Nidra, you will enter a calming state for the mind and body through guided meditation. The practice creates physical and mental activities that change brain waves to release emotional tension, slow down the nervous system, and allow muscles to relax. Yin Yoga Yin yoga allows you to slow down, relax, and turn inward, which helps alleviate stress and restore your energy levels. Sound Bath A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind and body. Journaling Through the guided journaling prompts you can express, release and reflect on your thoughts and feelings.
