Description

The festivities will begin at 10 AM with the pledge of allegiance, a word of prayer, and patriotic special music. The importance of law enforcement in our community and the role of the citizen to support those who serve will be addressed followed by the recognition of three individuals...a police officer, a sheriff's deputy, and a highway patrolman. The three nominees will be recognized one at a time and presented with our "Hometown Hero" award. The service portion of this event will conclude with a challenge from the Bible, a time of reflection and a closing prayer. Immediately after, there will be an outdoor lunch for all law enforcement personnel, their families, and anyone in the community who attends the event.
