Dr. Conroy is the mind behind the Boost Performance and Longevity Center. The Center represents the culmination of almost two decades of experience in medicine, and is motivated by his conviction that the best treatments are preventative, integrative, and early. He is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician and has spent the last fifteen years working in emergency departments at leading hospitals across Pennsylvania and Texas. While there, he became deeply familiar with the high physical, mental, and emotional costs of intense, acute care, from strokes to heart attacks, infections, and traumas. Driven by those experiences, he has pursued advanced training in functional and integrative medicine, both of which are foundational to his current approach.
In parallel to his career as a physician, Dr. Conroy is dedicated to other aspects of human health: exercise, competition, and physical performance. He believes physicians should lead by example, demonstrating the principles they use to guide their recommendations and advice. He is an avid endurance athlete, and enjoys a steady course of half marathons, triathlons, and off-road races. In addition, he has completed eleven 70.3 IRONMAN races and four full ones, including the World Championships in Nice, France and Kona, Hawai’i. Those experiences have given him insight into the perspective, choices, attitudes, and behaviors that lead to peak performance and exceptional physical health.
