The AIA East Bay Home Tours 2023 will showcase seven Berkeley and Oakland homes with distinctive character and flair. Visitors will have the chance to explore the properties, gain insights into the design process, and meet the talented architects and designers who collaborated with these homeowners to bring the projects to life. This year's event promises to showcase some of the region's most impressive and unique homes, designed by the area's most innovative architects and designers. The Home Tours will highlight a range of architectural styles, from historic to contemporary, and feature a diverse mix of spaces, from large homes to a backyard ADU’s. Interested in volunteering to be a docent? Docents will receive a complimentary ticket as thanks for their time. Even if you do not have a reliable mode of transportation, please sign up anyway! We will work with you to coordinate carpooling with your fellow docents. We ask attendees to please respect our Home Tour rules: wear shoe covers (that we will provide) whenever you are inside one of the homesdo not bring children under 12 years of agephotography of any kind is not alloweddo not bring food/drink inside the homesbring a mask! Masking is not required in outdoor spaces but certain homes will require to mask while indoors.
