The Czech Center New York offers an interactive workshop prepared in collaboration with the Czech designer studio Balance is Motion. Participants will be able to create various models of modular furniture. Czech designer studio Balance is Motion will represent Czechia at this year's ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan held at the Javits Center, May 21-23, 2023. This will be the first public showing of the studio’s modular project Ruderal which will be presented as part of the prestigious ECO Solidarity exhibition at Wanted Design Manhattan 2023. An important aspect of the Ruderal project is the principle of co-design which aims to involve users in the creation of the final products. Attendees of the workshop will thus be able to explore their ideas and come up with their own miniature creations for the Ruderal collection. Moreover, with the use of recycled filaments, they will be able to observe the 3D printing process in action. Come and join us to design the modular collection of your dreams! Duration: approx. 2.5 hours No special skills necessary! The workshop is meant for ca. 15 people. Please register only if you plan to come!
