Coffee Hours connect RASCL members with local communities and stakeholders for informal and interactive discussions on resilience and sustainability topics. This Coffee Hour will focus on the nexus between population growth, land use planning, traffic, and emergency response times. We will hear from a top official in Sussex County’s EMS about the growing delays encountered by EMS when responding to a 911 call. In addition, RASCL experts will discuss implications for evacuations and how to mitigate these issues through land use and transportation planning best practices. Light refreshments will be provided.
