Frank Lopez (Guest Speaker- Retired ICE agent) Mr. Lopez will share information on his experiences with trafficking victims. General information on human trafficking victims. What to look for, how and to whom reporting is done. Jazmin Vasquez (The Hope Center) Will discuss the services they offer to trafficking victims. Also discuss services for the public in general. National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) NCMEC will be presenting on missing children, the process of reporting, some Cyber crimes involving children, and anything else related to missing children. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Training on how to identify victims of internet crimes. How to report, who to report suspected internet crimes against children, dialogue used by predators and cyber bullying. Human Trafficking Unit (HT) Will provide training for identifying human trafficking victims, signs, tatoos, and other identifiers for human trafficking. Keynote Speaker Judge Romero Judge Romero will present the judicial part of trafficking. He will also discuss some cases and what part he played in the case. Keynote Speaker Erin Atkins (GAL) Erin will discuss her role as a GAL and what experiences she has experienced as a Gaudian Ad Litem. Counseling Center- Kim Richardson Will provide community provider information and services they offer. Kids Inc. – Cambri Syling Will provide community provider information and services they offer. 100% Otero – Lisa Yelhe Will provide community provider information and services they offer. Williams Counseling – Colleen Williams Will provide community provider information and services they offer. Katherine Trujillo and Angelique Sedillo (Office of the Attorney General Office) Presentation on Cyber Bullying, and other internet crimes against children.
