Your IABC San Diego Board About our trainer: Katherine Ann Campbell, Certified Board TrainerKatharine Ann Campbell has been committed to public service for more than 50 years. Her governance experiences began with Theater West Virginia and Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital before moving around the country and serving on boards in multiple areas of community service. Since the mid-1980s, she has been on both sides of governance education, including: attending the FBI school where she built and sustained community victims of violence programs; completed a Governance Master Class from the Girl Scouts, USA; taught governance workshops; and spoke nationally emphasizing the importance of individuals understanding their board role to help guide an organization to success. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado, having studied governance as part of the program. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
