Description

Learn the basics of soldering to create unique and personalized pendants. The class will begin with an introduction to soldering techniques, including safety precautions and the proper use of equipment. Participants will then be provided with a variety of butterfly wings to use in creating their pendants. You are encouraged to bring their own materials to include in their pieces(ex: small pressed flowers or plants, etc.). Use glass cutting tools to cut your own glass and then soldering tools to carefully enclose the materials inside, creating a one-of-a-kind pendant. Throughout the class, participants will have the opportunity to experiment with different combinations of materials and techniques to create a variety of unique pendants. By the end of the class, each participant will have created several pendants that they can wear or give as gifts.
