Join our hands-on beginner's workshop where you'll learn to build a classic Adirondack chair (pallet chair) from a kit that we have created for you to make this a fun easy way to jump into woodwork. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to build their own furniture but doesn't know where to start or wants to surprise themselves by making something they never thought they would be able to. During this workshop, you'll learn how to use power tools to make adjustments and assemble your chair. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process and provide helpful tips along the way. By the end of the class, you'll have a beautiful chair that you can be proud of. Not only will you gain confidence in using power tools, but you'll also increase your knowledge of woodworking. These skills will come in handy for future DIY projects or even if you're considering a career as a carpenter or furniture builder. Our kits are pre-cut, but we need at least 3 days lead time to acquire and cut them down. You'll also have the option to customize your pieces with laser etchings. We'll provide a cut list handout to help you understand the pieces that are needed, and you'll be able to take that knowledge and apply it to other projects. Plus, you'll leave the class with a finished Adirondack chair that you can use indoors or outdoors.
