I am a Norfolk native and artist by occupation and lifestyle. My love for the arts started many years ago and continues to grow every day. Over the last couple of years, I have participated in local markets and festivals in Norfolk and Virginia Beach and had my first solo show in collaboration with Chesapeake Public Libraries. I believe that even though art has the ability to be structured and organized, it yields a lot of beauty when created organically. Bringing this aspect of outdoor art sessions to Paradise Creek is something that would be great for the community and would help bring some color and life to the park. I think it lets people see nature in a different light; It lets the community know that nature is something to be experienced- just like art. Please note events may need to be canceled or rescheduled due to weather or not meeting the minimum attendance. Thank you for supporting the Elizabeth River Project’s programs and we look forward to meeting you! A painting by Devyn Casey
