The New York State Education Department is pleased to announce the 2023 P-3 Summer Institute on August 17, 2023, at the NYS Cultural Education Center in Albany. The Institute is planned in partnership with the NYS Council on Children and Families. This one-day session will be open to teachers, specialists, and administrators responsible for designing programs for students along the P-3 Continuum. Session topics will support educators in creating a learning environment that reflects developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate practices and instruction.
Space will be limited at this free event. Organizations may register up to two participants. Please note that parking, meals, and travel must be paid for by those attending. Due to the limited number of tickets available, please only register if you plan on attending. Keynote speakers will be available for viewing via livestream for those who cannot attend.
Tickets are non-transferable - a waitlist list will be available. CTLE credit is available for attending the workshops and keynote sessions.
PARKING: Fee-based outdoor parking ($10/day) available in lots next to the NYS Museum on Madison Ave (Cathedral Lot and Madison Visitor Parking) as well as indoor parking on the NYS Plaza. (Parking Map can be found here). There is also meter parking on the street.
