Description
Join us at Turkey Creek Trail for a guided mindful nature walk for women. We will meet at the parking lot where the trailhead is located at 7:00AM sharp to get started and will wrap up at the same location by 9:00AM. This group's purpose is to gather women in nature and in community for guided mindful hikes that are unplugged. Our nature hikes are intended to be an opportunity to slow down, acknowledge the rhythms of the natural world, and leave feeling restored and nourished in the mind, body and soul. It is amazing what we can witness and learn from nature when we open up to it with our senses fully engaged. Before we begin hiking, we invite everyone to put away devices so we can plug into nature instead. Doing so allows us to really engage our senses intentionally in the sights and sounds on the trail. There will be guided meditations, mindful conversation, and an invitation to try out some barefoot walking (if you feel called). There will also ben an opportunity to get our hands and feet in the water and/or dirt a little bit through creek walking and mandala making. This group is for you if you're seeking: - nature in your life! - companionship in the outdoors - mindfulness practices - time unplugged and away from devices - greater connection to mother Earth - female camaraderie in an accepting environment - soul nourishment & natural healing We walk fairly slowly with the intention of building connection to nature and mindfulness. This hike welcomes beginners. Hikes fill quickly so please register and ensure your response is accurate. We keep our events small and intimate. If you can no longer attend, please change your RSVP to "no" so someone else can join in your space. Our hikes are donation based (recommended donation of $10-15) and can be paid on Venmo at @Journeylandandsoul. Logistics & things to bring: - Water - Hiking shoes or water shoes with tread - Sun protection - Hat / sunglasses - This trail has water so participants should be comfortable with water crossings
