The Platte River chapter of the Armed Women of America is launching! Join us for our open house and learn all about what AWA Platte River will offer its members! We are so very excited to be the next chapter in Nebraska. Just like our sister chapters in Omaha, Grand Island and Firth, we will be offering educational seminars and hands-on workshops to equip and empower our members with the knowledge and skills they need to feel safe, confident, and capable. We focus our education on firearm and non-firearm related skills and knowledge. Our chapter is open to 14 year olds and up (Those under 18 must be a member with their mother). 18 and up can join as individuals. We welcome those with a ton of experience and those with no experience to learn and grow with us. Chapter leaders for AWA Platte River are two of the most credentialed and experienced female instructors in the State.
