Come join us for a day of learning, networking, prizes, and fun and our annual Southern Chapter of NevAEYC Mini-conference Early Childhood in Bloom! Several breakout sessions to choose from including two that will be taught in Spanish! Creating a Sense of Belonging Kalena Sharp, Early Childhood Trainer, Las Vegas Urban League-Early Childhood Connection Building I - Room I203 This training focuses on how childcare providers and teachers can building a sense of belonging and community for children by creating an environment that support children social-emotional, cognitive and language development. Participants will have the opportunity to role play class scenarios that help to understand how to create a sense of belonging and implement strategies to build a community of leaders and learners.
