The Federal City Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in collaboration with Good Health Wins and the Live Well Initiative, is hosting the mental health awareness event “Deconstructing Myths Around Mental Health in the Black Community” Through an interactive, in-person workshop and panel discussion, participants will learn more about demystifying mental health, specifically in the Black community of Washington, DC. Join the conversation and light lunch as we address topics like "Black Love is Dead" "Men Don't Suppose to Cry" "Faith and Mental Health" "Disparities and Access" "Superwoman Complex" and "The Grind and Hustle" with some of our favorite presenters and community members.
