Description

We’ll look for resident grassland species, including Wild Turkey, California Quail, and raptors, and spring breeding birds. A primitive restroom is available, water is not. Directions: Note these directions are as of April 9 as Hwy 84 (Woodside Road) is currently closed between Portola and Hwy 35 (Skyline Road) east of Hwy 35, and the reopening date for that section of Hwy 84 is not known. Take Hwy 92 to Hwy 35 to Hwy 84 in Woodside, then take Hwy 84 west to La Honda. turn north on Sears Ranch Rd (opposite Applejacks bar), and follow it to the Lower La Honda Creek Preserve parking lot, 900 Sears Ranch Rd.
