He is currently an independent artist with a partnership with The Wrecking Spot Music Group and Optimistic Records. Born in Montebello, California raised in East Los Angeles, California, Randy began pursuing a musical career after graduating high school. He has written many songs for many artists both independent and up-and-coming. Marx has dedicated much time and effort perfecting his styles and his unique voice as he continues to thrive and captivate the mainstream audience. An honor graduate of the Los Angeles Film School he pursued a graduate degree in Music Production. He is constantly evolving and persistently mastering his craft. He has collaborated/worked with numerous artist during his career such as Chingo Bling, Kurupt, All Money In recording artist Pacman da Gunman, the famous Irish comedy duo “The 2 Johnnies”, TeeFlii, Multi Platinum award winning audio engineer “IRKO”, Platinum producer RawSmoov, Love and Hip Hop’s star “Ray J” and more. Marx has also been associated with artists and producers from Create Music Group, Foundation Media, Empire Distribution, MNRK Music (formerly KOCH) and Atlantic Records. Randy is developing a reputation for his “melodic tunefulness” and “lyrical diversity”. In recent releases he has incorporated more rap-singing. Marx’s lyrics often associate subjects based on his “Dark Horse” mentality; from poverty to the independent struggle, depression, to the hustle to the entrepreneurial route. His artistry is truly limitless and adaptive. He has listed numerous artists among his influences including 50 Cent, Akon, Fabolous, Pitbull, T-Pain, Max Martin, Kevin Gates, Wale, Rod Wave and others. His recent success comes from Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 series where Marx landed the main theme song and the main character select screen in game.
