With a new superintendent in place and new mayor elected next year, changes are on the horizon for the Philadelphia school system. Parents, teachers, students, and neighbors are invited to an event to tell reporters what you want these leaders to hear. Our topic of discussion: your hopes and dreams for your school, for the district, and for Philadelphia overall. We want to hear your stories, and then tell them. We are a group of working and student journalists at local news organization Billy Penn at WHYY and Temple University's Logan Center for Urban Investigative Reporting. Please enter through the Whitman Library front door and staff will direct you to the event. The library is ADA accessible with a public bathroom and water fountain. We will have translators for multiple languages.
