No Cover Charge. The Amazing Vocal Parodies Variety Fun Show is the latest incarnation of John Hague. Challenged by trying to keep a good band or two together, sometimes it's nice to have a gig where the only person to rely on is yourself. The show has grown in recent weeks, adding a live music session with special guest musicians. This week our guest is the amazing DOUG HOLROYD. Doug has spent a lifetime entertaining, had a very successful career in the television industry, has a rich musical background and pedigree. Doug has performed with many famous music artists, and knows many more. John Hague is a past winner of the KSJO 1992 Battle of the Bands. In 2008 John made it through a couple of rounds on America's Got Talent, and won the Butte County Fair Idol Contest in 2010. After winning BC Fair Idol, John took on the role as co-producer of the event and has moved on to co-produce a number of successful franchises, including the Players for Paradise music benefit after the Camp Fire in 2018; the Bambi Inn Veterans Rib Cookoff since 2005; Players for Paradise 5th anniversary re-boot in 2023, and a major contributor to Rick & Jimmi's annual Allstar Jam in the SF Bay Area since 2014. John's interests have centered around music because it is the one thing that has the ability to unite us despite of how much people seem to be divided, especially politically, today.
