RAISING A HEALTHY CHILD IN AN UNHEALTHY WORLD  Children are exposed to more drugs, toxins and stresses today than ever before. 1 in 6 children suffer with learning disabilities Millions more suffer with asthma, diabetes and other chronic, allergic and autoimmune diseases. An epidemic of chronic disease and disability is plaguing America’s children, who are the most highly vaccinated children in the world and also among the most chronically ill and disabled. More than 45,000 children die each year from adverse prescription drug use or poisonings. Sports have gone from fun to competition. Schools need policies on bullying; and the increase in nationwide violence and the pressure and need to succeed has put a tremendous amount of pressure on our children. How we manufacture things and how we dispose of waste can have a serious impact - both on us and the world around us. Pesticides and the genetic modification of our foods, chemicals in our soaps and arsenic in our drinking water leave us living in danger.  Due to our poor diets, our generation of children have a shorter life expectancy than we do as their parents! That is not okay!  Today, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states that 1 child in 6 in America suffers with learning disabilities while millions more suffer with asthma, diabetes and other chronic allergic and autoimmune diseases. The epidemic of chronic disease and disability among children has increased dramatically in the past five decades. What can we begin to do to protect our children?
