The Portsmouth Farmers’ Market takes place in the City Hall parking lot overlooking the South Mill Pond every Saturday, 8AM-12PM, from May 6 and November 4. Up on a hill and close the the ocean this market usually has a consistent and comfortable breeze, even on the hottest summer days. Wake up and stroll or bike to the market as a part of your weekend routine or stop by if you’re visiting the area. There is also a great playground for kids right across the street! This is the largest of our four summer markets and has an expansive variety of farms, prepared foods, and craft vendors. Many thanks to the City Manager’s Office, Health Department, Legal Department, and Police Department for the support to make this market successful.
