The goal of the One-Handed Wonders workshop is to provide solutions to single-handed pistol operations including using a single hand to draw, fire, and manipulate your handgun, both while you are stationary and while you are on the move. This course will also serve to answer the following questions: What is happening that is causing you to need to shoot your firearm using only one hand as opposed to using two hands and how is your shooting affected by the loss of the use of your support hand?? The goal of the Integrating Defense Systems (IDS) course is to introduce various devices and tools as alternatives to the handgun for self-defense. We will explore some of these devices and we will discuss how they can be carried and used in a defensive situation. We will also cover transitioning from one level of defense to another, retaining or discarding “lower level” tools, and other topics.
