The send-off is designed for all Cleveland area college-bound freshmen students and upperclassmen returning to a Historically Black College or University in the fall of 2023. The send-off is the closing activity of the council’s annual commitment to providing wraparound educational support services to aid students to reach the “Destination HBCU” of their choice. This event and the support of our partners and donors will enable us to continue to do the work that we do in the name of our individual and collective institutions. Freshmen, new incoming transfers, and current HBCU students will receive free entry. Freshmen and new incoming transfers can bring one parent/guardian for free. Alumni, additional guests, and supports are $10.00. Freshmen and new incoming transfers, to be eligible for a trunk, you must submit proof of your paid enrollment/orientation fee and /or housing deposit for the Fall 2023 semester by 5:00 pm, Friday, June 16, 2023.
