Belly dance is incredibly hypnotic. The movements mesmerize and captivate audiences worldwide. It is an appreciation of the human form. We can use it as a vehicle to heighten our confidence, feel intense freedom and even make friends. Let's get together and practice belly dance! You will burn 600-1000 calories per class! It's an amazing workout and a gratifying experience. The water element added to this dance allows you to advance your belly dance moves like never before. Moves that you thought you couldn't do, all of a sudden you can now do them with the help and grace of the wavy waters. Water is the element most like belly dance. Our belly dance movements emulate that of how water flows. The fluidity of belly dance and water combined create spectacular feeling for the dancer. What to Expect: Upon arrival let the receptionist know you have a swim session, you be granted access to the pool area, locker rooms, and sauna. Get changed in the locker room, rinse off in the shower and meet us in the pool area.Walk to the indoor pool area where you will have a chance to meet Oniya Divine and get to hear a sneak peak into her musical playlist that she will be performing to this year at prominent affairs. We will then descend into the water and begin the belly dances! We will be in 3-5 feet deep water. If you would like to be in the 9 feet for a more intense workout let the host know and you wil be given a floatation belt during your session. Music will be played. (30 mins)There will be an abdominal section of the class where we will do ab workouts on the edge of the pool. (10 mins)After the class is concluded you will have an opportunity to enjoy the jacuzzi spa and/or the sauna.
