Attention ALL active and retired firefighters, police officers, and military members!!!
We are in need to help carry the Carry On USA Ohio Honor Log in the 71st Blue Ash Memorial Day Parade! We will meet in-front of The Blue Ash City Building/Station 15, located at 4343 Cooper Road in Blue Ash and take turns carrying the Honor Log in the parade,1 mile through Downtown Blue Ash to the lot of the Cancer Support Center, located at 4819 Cooper Road for a Memorial Day Ceremony and speech from Navy Captain Jeff Lamphear. The Veteran's Park renovation is under construction, so this location is just across the street. Ceremony begins at 1130am. Bring your families to watch, cheer on, and pay respect to our nations heroes.
The Carry On Ohio Honor Log, honors all the fallen warriors from the State of Ohio. Logs from other states will be participating in similar events and are designed to be carried by 6 at a time, like a service members casket, and are hand carved and designed to honor the sacrifice of our nations fallen heroes as a memorial icon that also invokes advocacy and cohesion through the suffering of carrying the log together. It is an honor to participate, so please consider helping out, or donating to carryon-usa.org.
