Sarah Rose Cavanagh and the Simmons University Center for Faculty Excellence invite you to join the book launch for her new book Mind Over Monsters: Supporting Youth Mental Health with Compassionate Challenge, published by Beacon Press in May 2023. Sarah will provide a brief presentation on the implications of her book's argument for the college classroom and answer a few questions. For in person attendees, there will be light refreshments (thank you Beacon Press!) and a book signing (thank you Trident Booksellers!). For Zoom attendees, we will email you a link to the Zoom event a week before the launch. Though Zoom attendees won't have an opportunity to attend the book signing portion of the hour, if you buy the book elsewhere and fill out this form, Sarah will mail you a signed book plate. You can purchase the book at all major sellers.
