Calling all adaptive boxers or those interested in learning adaptive boxing fundamentals and adaptive options for competitive adaptive boxing, the next Adaptive Boxing Clinic at DPI is scheduled to begin...!!!!!PLEASE READ BELOW!!!!!!Waivers required for all participantsThis Adaptive Boxing Clinic will focus on strategies and techniques to improve fundamentals and teach our adaptive fighters the tools required to become a universal boxer. All of the strategies utilized will follow USA BOXING High Performance instruction (the coaching performed at the USA Olympic Training Center)Our First Clinic Day Thursday 4/13/23: We will review Warm up drills. Teach Universal Boxing Stance. Instruct and refine all punches (The Jab, Right Cross, Left and Right Hooks, and Uppercuts) We will also introduce slip & catches.Saturday morning Clinic times will be dedicated to Boxer Warm ups and shadow boxing to get the repetition of good form punches in.Wednesday afternoon clinic times we will get some mitt work and specific strength drills to improve punches and condition us as fighters.Stages of Sparring sessions may be included (gear provided) on Thursday night sessions only.Thursday night Clinics will be for costWednesday & Saturday Clinic times will be no cost to those committed to the Thursday night clinic.
