Join our BYOV (Bring Your Own Vase) Dried Floral Design Workshop in beautiful Beacon, NY! Dried flower arrangements are some of the most stylish, lowest-maintenance accents to spruce up your place. With proper care, they should last 2-3 years (or more) with no watering, no gardening, no fuss. At this small group workshop, you'll bring your favorite vase — then fill it with an arrangement of beautiful dried flowers and greenery. You'll learn the basics of dried floral design and create a stunning new bouquet in the process. During the class, you'll learn about: Selecting seasonally themed dried flowers and greeneryComposing unique, balanced arrangements that suit your styleColor theory options so your design looks intentional Supplies to make even more designs!After a tutorial and demo, you'll get to work making your own arrangement, with hands-on guidance when you need it. All guests will receive a 15% discount to shop at Witch Hazel after the event. You don't need to bring anything except your vase and yourself...so grab a ticket and come over. See you at the flower bar! Note: A minimum of 6 guests are needed to hold this workshop. If we do not receive 6 sign-ups by two days prior to the event, we will unfortunately need to cancel, and we will fully refund your ticket price. We're a small business, and we appreciate your understanding! ___________________________________________ FAQ What kind of vase can I bring? Any style or shape you like! Just keep size in mind. A vase that would fit well on a mantle, coffee table, side table or shelf would be perfect, but a giant urn wouldn't work. Ideally, the longest point of your vase should be 12 inches or less. If you have questions about a specific vase, please reach out. Do I need to wear specific clothes or bring anything else for the class? No! Be comfortable, as we'll design at standing tables. Accommodations are readily available for those using wheelchairs and folks who cannot stand comfortably for extended periods. We'll provide all the flowers. Where do I go for the class? Come to 176 Main Street in Beacon, NY, and enter through the shop's front door. It's to the left of the store window. If you like, pop by a few minutes early to get settled. Do I need any prior experience with flowers? Nope! Do I get to take my arrangement home? Yep! Will you serve refreshments? We'll have wine (for ages 21+), seltzer and water. You can bring your own individual servings of snacks and other drinks, too. Please keep the space and your fellow students in mind. (Meaning: please avoid foods with super-potent smells, big open glasses of your favorite red wine, food you need a whole plate and place setting to eat, etc.) How big is the class? The class size is limited to 8 guests, which means personalized assistance, plenty of space, maybe even some new friends! What happens if I purchase a ticket but can't attend? Once booked, tickets are not refundable unless the class is canceled due to insufficient ticket sales. Because we're a small business, we need to buy supplies in advance, and this helps us keep tickets more affordable for everyone.
