Join us for an evening of fun at Bucket O'Blood Books and Records while helping us support our mission and expansion of Liberation Library's programming. Browse the books at the beginning and get comfortable as you sip on drinks, grab a bite to eat, and meet others gathering for Liberation Library! Also, partake in our raffle and play book themed trivia to test your literary skills. This will be Liberation Library's first in person fundraiser, so help us enter a new era of Liberation Library through community, joy, and a love of books! Ticket prices are tiered from $20-$35 as well as open to more donations on our GoFundMe. Space is limited so get your ticket now! About us: Liberation Library is an abolitionist organization that provides books to youth in prison to encourage imagination, self-determination and connection to outside worlds of their choosing. We believe access to books is a right, not a privilege. We believe books and relationships empower young people to change the criminal legal system. About the space: Bucket O'Blood is located at 3182 N Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60618. You can access Bucket O'Blood from the California bus, the Belmont bus, and a 20 minute walk from the Belmont Blueline stop. COVID-19 Notice: Attendees are required to wear a mask (KN95 or N95) throughout the duration of this event except for eating and drinking. Masks will be provided for those who do not have them. If you do not wear a mask during this event, you will be asked to leave.
