VB-Us 2023: Bread in the Wilderness

On Monday to Thursday evenings, June 5-8, the Episcopal Parish of St. Mark and St. Paul on the Mountain will offer another summer of Vacation Bible School that flips the concept on its head. Rather than a daytime VBS program put on for children, this dinner and learning series appeals to all ages and brings families together. Our theme this year, Bread in the Wilderness, explores how God nurtures us through difficult times, and how we can offer bread to others in the wilderness. Speaker schedule: Monday - Old Testament scholar Becky Baseo-Hill, Tuesday - Scott Bennett of Bread Peddler, Wednesday - Mimi Nikkel of Love's Arm Outreach, Thursday - Eucharist with the Rev. Scott Lee. On Thursday after Eucharist, we will have a waterslide! VB-Us is open to all. There is no charge for dinner or the program. Donations are accepted to cover the cost of the meals.  Participants are asked to bring donations of non-perishable food and paper products for CAC, and sample-sized toiletries for Love's Arm Outreach. Please register ASAP to reserve your free T-shirt! For orders placed after May 20, some T-shirt sizes may not be available. We will accommodate whoever we can while supplies last.
