Join Georgia Paranormal Investigations at Historic Stately Oaks in Jonesboro GA for a fun, informative spooky night. GPI will present their Paranormal 101 - A comprehensive Introduction to Paranormal investigating presentation. Along with history of the location. Followed by an investigation of the Stately Oaks House, The Old General Store , The Old School House and Much Much More. PARANORMAL ENCOUNTER EVENT RULES * This Event is designed to be an Educational and fun Paranormal adventure. *Limited Tickets will be sold for this special event. * Please do not put on fragrances before the investigation. Smells are often reported at haunted locations, and it will be difficult to identify if we are wearing fragrances. * Please do not wear loose jewelry, baggy clothing, etc. These often make extra sounds and noises that will make listening to and identifying EVPs difficult! *NO open toe shoes or flipflops * There will be identified spots if you need to smoke a cigarette. Please make sure you dispose of your cigarette butts accordingly. * Please do not plan to investigate under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We will ask you to leave the premises if so. * Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. * Ouija Boards, Smudging, Rituals, Crossing Over, and Provoking is strictly prohibited. * Bring your own handheld equipment! We'll have some that you can see in use within your groups, but you are welcome to bring any equipment you have for investigating that you can carry with you. A flashlight is highly encouraged. Additionally, if you do not have a digital audio recorder, bring your phone! We'll ask you to put it in airplane mode, but you can still record audio onto your cellphone - many people on our investigations have recorded EVPs on their phones! *Light refreshments and bottled water will be provided, but all food and drinks must remain inside the Old School Building. * We will be walking outdoors between several building on the property. Please plan and dress accordingly, in layers should it be cold outside. *If you should need to leave the event early for any reason, please let a staff member know, and you will be escorted out of the property gate. *Paranormal activity is not guaranteed at this event, the spirit world is very unpredictable, but GPI has documented countless evidence of hauntings at this property, some of which can be seen and heard on the Facebook event page Stately Oaks Paranormal Encounters. *Parking for the event is across from the front gate of the house, please note there is limited parking spaces on Carriage Lane. *Guest Registration is from 4:45 pm to 5: 45.pm in the Old School House. *NO LATE ADMITTANCE, the property gates will be closed and locked at 5:45 *Event will take place Rain or Shine. * Most importantly, have fun! This investigation is for you to learn the techniques and procedures used in a real paranormal investigation in a real haunted location, so bring your ideas and thoughts for investigating! You never know what, or who, you will run into. We urge you to be ready to be involved in the investigation! Think of some questions you'd like to ask in advance, if you have any theories that we can test out, and more!
