May is Lupus Awareness month and this is our and your opportunity to advocate for Lupus. Rays of Fortitude is dedicated to spreading Lupus Awareness through education and support, because every day I and over 2 million Americans are living with Lupus. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and tissue damage to virtually every organ in the body. Unfortunately, two out of three Americans know little or nothing about Lupus and its symptoms. Each year’s proceeds will benefit a lupus survivor through medical assistance. The annual average cost to provide medical treatment for a person with lupus can range from $6,000 to $10,000, with some treatment costing several thousand dollars a month. Gather your team and come join us for some fun, awareness and education. Don't have a team...no worries, you can still join in on the fun and win the coveted trophy. This year's event will look slightly different but is guaranteed to deliver the same results. Winning team will receive a trophy as well the top score holders. $65/per person-includes 2 hours of bowling, shoe rental, food, drinks and event tshirt.
