For the third year, the Hammock Beach Resort will host a memorial tribute stair climb. Participants will climb 110 flights of stairs in memory of the fallen first responders from the 9/11 attacks. The September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks claimed the lives of 2,977 people, including 343 Fire Department of New York City (FDNY) firefighters and one New York Fire patrolman. Join us on Monday, 9/11 at the Hammock Beach Resort to climb 110 flights in memory of those who lost their lives. We ask you please to arrive by 7:45. Opening ceremony begins at 8:15 and the climb begins promptly at 8:46 a.m. The event is free to attend and participate, but we do ask that you please make a donation to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation: https://www.firehero.org/donate/
