The Summit focus is prevention and control of infectious disease topics to improve American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) population health, including: • COVID-19 impacts and lessons learned • Tribal and Urban Indian Health Organization innovations in vaccination campaigns and outreach strategies • Best Practices in immunizations and vaccine preventable infectious disease prevention and control • Updates and guidance on issues including “HPV at 9”, emerging infectious disease issues, 19 COVID and routine vaccines • TUIHIC committee updates including Tribal vaccine advisory, vaccine hesitancy/misinformation • Addressing stress and compassion fatigue in the workplace • Building trusting partnership and environments Complimentary breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided to participants. Intended Audience: Health directors, AIHC delegates, nurses, physicians, health educators, public health staff, medical assistants, immunization coordinators, medical directors, medical intake, immunizations IT staff and other health staff. • You are invited to participate in AIHC’s Tribal Immunization Summit. • Registration is limited to 45 slots. • Tribes/UIHOs: Lodging arrangements and costs will be arranged for those traveling 50 plus miles one-way. Additional travel costs (mileage, etc.) will be reimbursed. IMPORTANT: If you are unable to make the event, you MUST notify us 72 hours before the start of the event to ensure we are only paying for occupied rooms. __________________ AIHC is also coordinating registration for the Washington State Immunization Summit the following day, May 25 at the same location. Indicate your interest in attending and we will coordinate your registration for that event too.
