Hello! Come and paint your own shopping bag. Create your own design and then use textile paints to paint your design on a 100% cotton shopping tote. Workshop include shopping bag, use of instructors textile paints and brushes, and guidance in creating and painting your design and some light snacks. You will be shown how to heat set your design so it won’t wash or fade. Invite a friend or if alone meet and make a new friend here with us and enjoy a creative night with us. This is 14 years old and above class. ABOUT OUR WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR: Anne Woodford is a local Seattleite with a passion for creating art. From an early age, Anne gravitated to the arts, taking up painting and drawing, as well as fiber arts. She has a BA from the University of Washington in Cultural Anthropology/Political Science with a minor in fine arts. Upon graduating from the Uof W, she managed The Legacy, an art gallery, specializing in Native American Art for 10 years. When she decided to have children, she left the gallery, but not her love for creating art. Anne has taught painting classes for the last 10 years and is a self-taught chalkboard artist as well. She is currently drawing upon her travels for inspiration for her paintings. She has recently rediscovered textile painting and is looking forward to holding workshops in that medium. Credit only will be issued for cancellation within 72 hours before the event. No refund or credit for no show on the date and time of event. Kids 14 and up are welcome but need to be accompanied by an adult to join. Must be age 21 and above to consume alcohol. We require minimum of 5 participants and if we don’t meet that requirement we will inform you and we will issue you a refund or credit whatever you prefer. We would appreciate if you come 5-10 minutes early to get situated before the event or even earlier so you could come shop first! We are looking forward to meet you and be creative with you. The participants and their parties are giving Anna Marie Creative Collective the permission to use photos taken for marketing purposes in social medias and website unless the participants requested not to be photographed.
