Join 33 West and Queens Village for this interactive workshop at the CAC for Black mamas around curating your personal style to feel good in your own skin. Led by Stylist Imani Smith and makeup artist Brittany Robinson, participants will develop their own personal style unique to them while learning realistic tips for shopping and styling what they already own! Open to Black mamas. This event is open to Black Mamas. Through Her Eyes: Mama Representation Project is a multimedia co-created project led by Christina Garrett of 33 West Studios centering the unique experiences of Black motherhood at the Contemporary Arts Center from May 5th to June 18th. The project is a collaboration between Queens Village, 33 West Studios, and the Contemporary Art Center’s Co-LAB program with support from Arts Wave.
