DC NewsBash, the charity event that raises funds and awareness for breast cancer causes, announces its 13th annual event Tuesday, May 16, from 7:00 - 9:00pm at its new home at the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. The DC NewsBash was founded in 2010 by the DC Newswomen, a collective of 40+ anchors across every major network in the DC region who have banded together to make an impact on their community. We invite supporters, survivors and friends to help raise awareness and critical funds for this year's beneficiary, Howard University Cancer Center. HUCC provides access to high quality breast cancer care for economically challenged and medically underserved communities. Our donation will directly benefit the Patient Navigation team, which assists women with overcoming cultural and linguistic barriers to care across the breast cancer continuum. Pink Patron tickets will give you access to an amazing night supporting a great cause with the most newsworthy women in town.
