The annual Falmouth Multicultural Fair is Saturday, May 20, from 2 to 4 PM at Mullen-Hall School in Falmouth. The event is free and open to the public. Visitors of all ages can explore more than a dozen exhibits featuring food, arts, crafts, books, music, games and stories from around the world. The event opens with drumming, singing and dancing from the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. The immersive experience continues with live music by the Sonnay Fiddlers and opportunities for kids to take part in Family Zumba, folk dancing and traditional drumming. Refreshments are donated by Casa Vallarta Family Mexican Restaurant, A Slice of Italy, Maison Villatte, Stop & Shop, Shaw’s and Falmouth High School Culinary Arts students. The event is sponsored by The Coalition for Children and Falmouth Public Schools. The Coalition for Children is a grant-funded education and support program for families in Falmouth and Mashpee. Programs are offered throughout the year at no cost to families, thanks to the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
