Basin Street, based out of Lafayette, Louisiana, performs a blend of R&B, Soul, Blues, New Orleans & local favorites. Some of the artists covered include: Aretha Franklin, Delbert McClinton, Tina Turner, Etta James, and Wilson Pickett. Favorites from the Neville Brothers, Irma Thomas, the Funky Meters, Zachary Richard, and Marc Broussard, help round out our musical repertoire. Presented on stage is a Female Vocalist, Alto/Tenor Sax, dual Guitars, Bass & Drums. Basin Street is unique in the fact that every member of the group sings lead or background vocals. Whether on the dance floor, enjoying dinner or just out socializing, Basin Street will do its best to get some part of your body moovin & groovin!
