You're invited to EBMUD's 100th Birthday Party and Community Fair on Sunday, May 21 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Lake Temescal in Oakland. Join the fun as we celebrate a century of service to the people of the East Bay! Enjoy live performances, a kid zone, touch-a-truck, food trucks and a beer and wine garden to benefit the Water Lifeline program. The North parking lot off of Broadway will be closed for the EBMUD 100th Birthday Party and Community Fair. The park remains open to the public, but parking will be limited to the street and the south Broadway Terrace parking lot. Please plan accordingly. GETTING THERE 🚲 🚄: Please ride BART or drive to MacArthur or Rockridge stations. Free shuttles will run from Rockridge and MacArthur BART every 10 minutes to ensure everyone can make it to the party. Free parking is available at the Rockridge or MacArthur BART parking lots. Free bike valet will also be provided at the event! Register in advance and get free tickets. We hope you’ll join EBMUD to celebrate our community and the value of water. Beer & Wine Garden, sponsored by Drake's Brewing Co. and Lange Twins Family Winery. (Proceeds go to the Water Lifeline Program.) Family-friendly activities include demonstrations from the East Bay Regional Park District Mobile Fish Exhibit, featuring a 1500-gallon aquarium on wheels housing the most diverse collection of California Freshwater Fish, a hands-on opportunity to explore EBMUD's utility truck, fun games, and more.
