Intermediate Obedience Level 2 Group Training Class
During this six-week course we will work both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting) to focus on environmental proofing all the skills learned in our Level 1 Class in a variety of social situations and in a social environment with emphasis on engagement, re-engagement, and teaching the dog to respond to body cues beyond leash pressure.
Each class will be 60 to 90 minutes in length. Classes will meet at our training facility in South Elgin and may venture outside for portions of each lesson so owners gain hands on practical application experience using the skills their dogs have learned.
This class starts at 8pm on Wednesdays begining May 31st, 2023 and will run for 6 consecutive weeks. We will have a make up class available for anyone who missed a regular scheduled class.
Owners are welcome to bring their dog's favorite treats, however this class is designed to establish praise as the reward instead of food. Training collar recommendations may be made on an idividual basis if needed.
Registration forms will be emailed to you before class. Please print and complete all forms, and bring them along with a copy of your dog's vaccine records to the first day of class. Space is limited, class fees are non refundable and will not be pro-rated for any classes missed.
Pups that are overly vocal or reactive towards other dogs or humans will not be permitted in class. Please contact us directly to discuss other training options available.
Limited spaces available as complimentary follow up for board and train students. Please contact us directly at [email protected] if you need to reserve space for a B&T graduate.
