Description

Q: What do you get when you blend traditional yoga poses with basic, natural movement that can tone your entire core and muscular system...? A: A grounding and enlivening experience in your animal body, for starters. Primal yoga will engage you physically in ways you've likely not felt in an ordinary yoga or exercise class. Its organic movement (think of it as yoga postures with weighted movement) will awaken your whole being. Your practice will be as easy, or physically challenging, as your intuition suggests. Primal yoga strengthens and frees your entire body as you gently open shoulders, hips, and spine to their fuller ranges of motion. You do not need a gym membership or training equipment to become limber, healthy, and fit -- just your own body, and Mother Earth! Dress in comfortable, weather-suitable clothing, and bring a water bottle and mat, if you wish. Jim Readey is a Kripalu-certified Yoga Teacher, Holistic Health Instructor, Yoga Teacher Mentor, as well as certified iRest® Yoga Nidra teacher, and trained practitioner of Thai Yoga Massage.
