Our Island Wine class will be a continuation and spin off of our Italian Wine Journey. In this class we'll explore the wines of the Italian islands of Sicily and Sardinia, the French Island of Corsica, and the Canary Islands. All of these islands were formed by volcanic activity which has a tremendous impact on the styles of wine. Start our Journey Through Italy series in March as we dive into other exciting Italian regions: March 25 ~ The Wines of Piedmont April 15 ~ The Wines of Tuscany May 13 ~ The Wines of Central and Southern Italy June 10 ~ Island Wines (Sicily, Sardinia, the non-Italian Corsica and Canary Islands) All classes start at 3:00 and last approximately 90 minutes with extra time after for revisiting wine, asking additional questions, etc. As always, these classes are designed for students of all levels and are very limited.
