From Loose Park in the summertime, to a Streetcar ride down Main Street, Kansas City is easy to love. It's no surprise, then, that we received an overwhelming number of submissions to this year's "Dear KC" Poetry Contest, a celebration of Kansas City and National Poetry Month. The Young Friends of the Kansas City Public Library, KC Streetcar, and Crux KC, in partnership with Bliss Books & Wine, now invite you to a public reading and reception to celebrate the winners of this year's contest. Please join us to hear from our winning poets, and to see the posters our design team has created to display our winning poems along the Streetcar line this summer.
