THIS IS A FREE EVIDENCE BASED PROGRAM THAT MEETS
FOR 1 HOUR - EACH WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR FOUR MONTHS, BI-WEEKLY FOR TWO MONTHS, AND ONCE A MONTH FOR SIX MONTHS.
LOCATION: SIH COMMUNITY CLASSROOM, through the SIH ANNEX ENTRANCE

Who should attend:
Anyone18 or older, with a BMI of 25+, not pregnant at the time, have no previous type 1 or type 2 diabetes diagnosis, and are prediabetic and at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

In this program you'll learn how to:
Eat healthyAdd physical activity to your routineManage stressStay motivatedSolve problems that can get in the way of your goalsThis program is proven to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. Participants who lost 5-7% of their body weight and added 150 minutes of exercise per week cut their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by up to 58% (71% for people over 60 years old).
