The Booker T. Washington Child Development Center's Inaugural Spring Social will kick off an annual celebration of the center and a unique opportunity to showcase the institution's history and accomplishments while raising funds to help support the students and families, provide additional learning materials and staff support, as well as campus and learning environment enhancements to help provide for our greatest future resources -- our children. This event will include a VIP meet and greet, brunch bites, mimosas, and student art for auction. We invite you to learn more about our institution and to have a great time. -- Booker T. Washington Child Development Center is a nonprofit that opened its doors in 1967, now serving as the longest-running Head Start in the state of Arizona. BTW provides high-quality early childhood education to nearly 700 children and families in the greater Phoenix community. Headquartered in the Eastlake neighborhood, we operate in 4 school districts at 20 sites, with 34 classrooms, and over 80 teachers and support staff. The Booker T. Washington Child Development Center strives to eliminate the opportunity gap for young children experiencing poverty and advocates to make early childhood education more accessible and equitable for ALL FAMILIES. Booker T. Washington Child Development Center is a Head Start & preschool program, combining federal funding, First-Things-First grants, fee-for-service, and private philanthropic dollars to provide full-day, full-year comprehensive education, health, mental health, nutrition, and family engagement services.
